Windsor John Davies, October 18, 1937-July 22, 2008

My Father died yesterday in his home in Nashville. He had been diagnosed with malignant melanoma about 18 months ago.

Those who know me, know that I never had a good relationship with him. So it is deeply ironic that I attended his death. I will write more later when my brain cames back.

Rest in Peace Natalie Jacobs

Our dear friend Natalie Jacobs died suddenly on January 2 after a brief illness. This is what I know right now: she was ill with a respiratory infection. She went to the emergency room, was given medication and released. She was found by friends the next morning dead in her bed.

She was present at both my childrens births. She helped cut my daughters umbilical cord and was the first person other than myself to hold my son. She was just finishing her education as a midwife.

I spoke with her last two weeks ago.

Natalie, we'll miss you.

Moyra Bernadette Davies, 1937-2007

My mother died suddenly this morning at 6:59 AM. She was at work and had a massive heart attack. EMS was called and CPR was performed but she never regained consciousness. I am going to Michigan to make arrangements.
