Her funeral mass was yesterday and was well attended. We had maybe eighty people who showed up and more who sent word that they couldn't come. Her ashes are to be buried in Vermont.
Donations may be sent to the Arthritis Foundation.

I'm sorry I never got a chance to meet your mother. I always loved listening to you talk about her. I had hoped to one day meet the woman who gave birth to you.
I'm sure she will be missed very much.

Ceredwyn, I'm so sorry for your loss. My Mother passed away almost 10 years ago - this Thanksgiving - and just shy of her 70th birthday. Knowing my Mom, and reading of Moyra, I believe these women had a wonderful passion for life. Moyra passed it on to you as evident in the stories you've shared here. You are a lucky daughter and Moyra will always be proud.
