I'm feeling somewhat better today. My joints ache, but the terrible mental stuff seems to have calmed down. I'm not quite "full of the joys of spring" but I'm much better. I'm even hopeful.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words

Happy Spring. Hopefully things will continue to get better. Know that you and the family aren't far from my thoughts most days.
Sadly I didn't even realize today was the first day of spring. Other than more rain (every afternoon about 4, just like clockwork), the weather here doesn't change much.
It was minus 12 degrees yesterday morning and 40 degrees today. I love Vermont.
I miss Vermont. :) Jamaica's not so bad. But I wasn't made for hot humid climates. I wouldn't want to move here permanently that's for sure. Thankfully I live in the mountains so I don't usually get the worst of the heat. But I still miss Vermont (and strangely enough-the snow).
Two feet of snow melted yesterday. I could see the picnic table emerge from a drift, and one woodpile surface like a submarine lunging up from the deeps.
Today, maybe another foot!
Owain and I wept dramatically at the collapsed tunnel he and I had built. :(
